Animal welfare charity RSPCA is mobilising the way it raises awareness about its work, through the use of beacon technology.
The group has signed a new partnership with the new content marketing platform Big Deals Local (Big DL), which will see the supplier provide proximity marketing technology that encourages high street visitors to pledge their support at the touch of a button via a mobile app.
In addition, the platform will enable people to discover the latest news on events from the charity and in the longer term will also support RSPCA shops.
Big DL is already working with a number of high street retailers to collate deals, reach consumers and enable access to the latest deals, events and exclusive offers. It is set for a wider national launch in the coming months, backed by a multimillion pound marketing campaign.
